The luxury real estate agency Ivester Jackson, a subsidiary of Christie’s International Real Estate in North Carolina, has opened an office in Wrightsville Beach.
The move marks the sixth expansion for Ivester Jackson, a company that has three offices in Charlotte, two in Asheville and a seventh in the Highlands region.
The Wrightsville Beach location at 527 Causeway Drive in the former home of MegaCorp and then PlayerSpace already has 10 brokers on board, said Britt Allen, broker in charge of Invester Jackson Coastal.
Allen said the Wrightsville Beach office should not exceed 30 officers.
“We are a luxury niche brokerage,” Allen said, adding that affiliation with Christie’s is by invitation only.

Sales have been on the rise for two years in the Wilmington-area luxury market.
