A firm specializing in luxury real estate in the Wilmington area announced Thursday the addition of a CEO.
Daniel Malechuk takes the helm of Landmark Sotheby’s International Realty, a company founded by broker Nick Phillips.

Malechuk is a seasoned global senior executive and has spent the past 20 years managing and growing several of the world’s largest companies, including ALDI and Shamrock Foods, the statement said.
Most recently, Malechuk was CEO of Kalera, where he led the vertical farming business “from its start-up roots to an international enterprise by building the management team, bringing the company into the international media spotlight, attracting blue-chip clients, raising several hundred million dollars, completing an IPO and executing major domestic and international M&A transactions,” the statement said.
Malechuk has received numerous awards and accolades, including his induction into the Bishop McGuinness High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame in 2016, named Produce Business 40 Under 40 winner in 2020, CEO of the Year Award 2020 – CEO Monthly Magazine, Executive Hero of the Year – 2020 CEO World Awards Bronze Winner, 2021 Artemis Produce Person of the Year and 2021 Orlando Business Journal’s first Power Players Award winner, the statement said.
A native of North Carolina, Malechuk is a real estate broker and agent and holds a degree in business management from NC State University, where he was a Park Scholar. He earned an Executive MBA from the University of Arizona.
