Real estate agency looks north and opens real estate office in Palm Beach

Palm Beach has just welcomed a new real estate agency, Berkshire Hathaway HomeService (BHHS) EWM Realty. The Coral Gables-based company opened its 11th office on Worth Avenue last week, its first in Palm Beach County. The remaining locations are in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

The agency’s executive office at 205 Worth Ave. marks a natural progression for the company, said Ron Shuffield, Chairman and CEO of BHHS EWM Realty.

In a statement released about the opening, Suffield noted “an increasing number of people from our tri-county team are already working consistently in the region.”

The agency’s roots span nearly six decades in South Florida. Its sister company, BHHS New York Properties, is based in New York, and the Palm Beach office will strengthen ties between clients in both regions who want to buy or sell homes, added Shuffield.

“This is a logical next step in the evolution of our business,” he said. “We look forward to developing this office both organically (by recruiting agents) and through acquisitions (other agencies) to strengthen our presence in this extraordinary destination. “
