Opendoor, a digital residential real estate company, is opening its largest office in Tempe and bringing more than 500 job opportunities, according to a city press release.

The 100,807 square foot space will serve as a regional hub for the company, which began operations in 2014. According to the release, the jobs that will become available with the new location will be in information technology, finance , human resources and management. the fields. “Opendoor has been supporting Arizonans with the confidence and control to change their lives since launching in Phoenix in 2014. From our first customer eight years ago, we are now part of neighborhoods across the state, serving tens of thousands of home buyers and sellers, and partnerships with contractors and small businesses,” Chief Client Officer Megan Meyer Toolson said in the release.

According to the company’s website, Opendoor customers can sell their homes and “skip the hard parts” through its online format. The digital real estate platform also allows buyers to purchase homes through the company in addition to selling them. The sales process involves obtaining a preliminary offer from Opendoor and submitting a video tour of the home to the company, according to the website. According to the release, this model has served more than 37,000 buyers and sellers in Arizona since the company began operations.
