A real estate consultancy firm in Birmingham has moved to a new office in the city’s business district.
MK2 Real Estate acquired 57 Cornwall Street from developer Adapt under an undisclosed deal earlier this year and has now completed its move from nearby Edmund Street following an internal fit-out.
The 4,100 square foot main floor office is on the corner of New Market Street and is part of the Lightwell development which also contains apartments and a David Lloyd gym.
The company currently has 19 employees and this move has more than doubled MK2’s office space, meaning it can accommodate up to 30 people.
The West Midlands Tech Awards are back for 2021 and are now open for nominations.

Co-Founder and Director Mark Johnson said: “We had moved beyond our previous office and needed more space to accommodate our expansion.
“Three years ago we set ourselves the goal of being a £ 4.5million company with 30 employees within five years.
“We’re now halfway there, both in terms of staff and revenue, and the new office will help us achieve our goal.
“Having our own office is a significant investment in the long-term future of the business as well as a commitment to having a physical presence in the city center, which is important to us and our customers. “
The layout was managed by MK2 Real Estate’s own building consultancy team and carried out by contractor City Office Interiors.
Real estate consultancy Creative Retail advised Adapt on the sale.
